Hot from the keyboard of one of the head honchos of this year's Hotham Park concerts, today, my Dad stages a blog takeover to give you the essential info on what to expect...
The Rotary Club of Bognor Regis and the Bognor Regis Town Council are pleased to
announce the return of the summer season of Music in Hotham Park. Four events are
planned with the return of firm favourites from previous years who will be joined by new
acts, all of whom are performing all over the South of England on a regular basis.
As before, the Sunday afternoon concerts will run from 2.00 through to 4.30pm at the
Bandstand in Hotham Park. The afternoons start with a solo performance, that is then
followed by the headline band on the day. All performances are free to the public who just
need to come and sit in the park and enjoy some music.

A different music genre has been picked for each month. In June it is Rock and Motown, July
features Gypsy Jazz and Pop, moving on to August with Americana and Soul and the last
performance of the year will be Rock and Pop.
Our returning soloists are Kim G, Andy Osman and Helena Mace and they will be joined by
Olivia Stevens. The headline group returnees include Alabama Stills and Superstrings with
The B3’s and Smoothmonkey making their debut performances for us.
The dates of the events are June 15th , July 20th , August 10th and September 7th with the June performance by Kim G and new group The B3’s playing Rock and Motown music.
Coustics players will remember the B3s as Steve Ball's band, who played at the concert we organised in memory of our friend and fellow musician Tony Moulton Barrett a few years back in Midhurst - Jon.
Book the dates for the free premier summer music events brought to you by the Town Council and the Rotary Club of Bognor Regis.
